4 weeks have already come and gone since Eric joined our little family. It has been a lot of fun. Already we're seeing Eric change and grow. It's fun though. Yesterday marked the official 4 week mark and we happened to have an appointment at WIC. They weighed and measure him. He is now exactly 9 pounds (I noticed he was heavier because his car seat is getting heavier)! He has also grown. He is now 21 1/2 inches long! Our baby is growing. Here are some pictures and funny stories of our almost 1 month old:
Eric likes his swing...sometimes. He actually LOVES the music that it plays. This is him this morning just chilling while listening to the music. I hope I am going to have a child who is a friend of the arts! We'll keep playing that Mozart I guess.
Eric is so close to smiling! He does it all this time when we're not looking directly at him (like in his sleep or while he's eating). This was as close as we could get him to smile. He had just woken up and just eaten. Mitch calls it his "drunk look".
The other day Eric had woken up from a nap and was so hungry. When I picked him up he started sucking his thumb. Although I don't want a thumb sucker it was so cute! He doesn't usually suck his thumb. I guess he was just very, very hungry!
This shot was perfect! Eric is starting to make the funniest faces. After waking up he was making these faces on and off. He makes us laugh all the time. I'm so glad we got one on camera. It was too funny. I think after this he probably pooped. Eric is tons of fun and very entertaining for his parents.

Hey Carrie, I love all your pictures!!!! I have not sat and read blogs for a few weeks now and it was great to catch up on your little family. Eric is such a handsome baby. Is Eric a family name from mitch's side, or just a name you liked? WOW, You do not even look like you had a baby a month ago. I think Jordan commented on your blog, he liked the poop sentence. Why do kids thinks poop is so funny? Have a fun day.

Congrats on the baby. He is a cute little guy. We had ours of the 5th of Feb. He was 8 lbs. 20 in. We are glad to have him here.
Congrats guys! Today is our little Jane's 1 Month B-day, she was born the 19th, due the 12th, of January... she was a big girl. Hope you guys are well, glad I found your blog!
