9 Months and Counting...

Today Eric turns 9 months. I cannot believe that it has already been that long since he was born. There are some days even now that when I hold him I get a glimpse of my baby. He is growing into a boy so fast. I just wanted to write a little about him and what things he likes to do now:

Eric is a boy through and through. He has two wooden cars that Grandma Ririe got him and he will push them around while he crawls beside it. It is adorable. One of the cars is actually a Winco semi. Well, there is a little man that is supposed to sit and drive, but Eric always takes him out. We'll try to sneak it in but he takes it out before pushing it. He is hilarious.

Eric is a fast little crawler and the last couple weeks have figured out how to open cupboard and drawers. If I hadn't baby proofed yet, the time to do so is now. He finds anything and everything on the floor so I have to keep my house squeaky clean (I try. doesn't usually happen). He is hearing the word, "NO" a lot more now. Eric also loves to walk. Not by himself yet, but along the couch, bathtub, chairs, and holding on to people's hands. He will not move though if you let go of one hand. It's just too scary still.

My son is the biggest mooch when it comes to food. Anyone who has anything he is there begging. He eats pretty well unless he is teething. We have a baby food grinder and for dinner he eats most things that we eat. He likes that tons better than the jar baby food.

Eric has 5 teeth now. Another one of his top teeth actually broke through yesterday. He is learning to bite with them now though. Although that's good for food, it's not so hot when its your finger or toe.

That's just a little about my busy boy. He adds countless amounts of joy to our little family.
