We spent a beautiful Easter morning listening to General Conference for our church. Around noon we headed over to my brother's house for a quick Easter egg hunt before the afternoon session of Conference. Eric was a little unsure of what to do and quickly lost interested. His cousin Shem held a basket and pointed out the eggs while Mom and Dad followed with the camera. Eric was more excited about being outside than searching for plastic eggs. After General Conference we had an amazing Easter dinner of ham, salmon, deviled eggs, funeral potatoes, and asparagus. For dessert we enjoyed Strawberry Shortcake. It was a great day to remember the atonement of our Savior Jesus Christ. It is because of Him that we are able to overcome everything in this life and become as our Heavenly Father is. How grateful we are the He is risen and what hope that gives to us.

How sweet, for Eric it seemed to be more like an animal hunt ;-)
I've read about General Conference in the German Edition of Liahona, it's always interesting to read through. Like you maybe know, we are not Mormon, we are Protestant-Lutheran. That's how Martin got his name - "Martin" Luther (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_Luther) But it's the same God we believe in. "A Mighty Fortress is Our God."
Thanks for being my friend anyway.
Eric is so big, running around, petting ducks! He is very cute. I would like you to send me on of those ducks to replace my fish.
