Eric is 2!

I cannot believe that Eric turned 2 last Thursday. I was remembering on the 12th how I had been in the hospital and in labor that day 2 years previous. How blessed we are to have Eric in our family. He has brought so much joy that I don't think would've been felt otherwise. The past year has been especially fun as Eric has grown like a weed. His talking has really taken off the past few months. We can actually understand the majority of his words. He especially like "Buzz to the Rescue". If you ask him what a pirate says he will say "Arrr." It's hilarious. Eric still calls Mitch "daddin." It is the cutest thing! I love the names he has for people. His aunt Holly (yes he can say Holly but calls her) Hallah. He is a boy through and through. He loves playing with cars, trucks, motorcycles, tractors, trains, building things and wrecking those, and guns (we got him a Nerf gun for his birthday). He likes to read books and will also read the Book of Mormon with us as a family. I love to hear him say his prayers and find and point to pictures of Jesus. He folds his arms so reverently anytime we tell him it's prayer time. He loves Nursery and after we sing and pray in church will always ask, "Nursery?" We love this little boy. Eric loves babies and I think will make a great big brother in March. He already knows the babies name (to be disclosed after birth. Mitch won't talk about names until the hospital). We are so blessed that Heavenly Father has entrusted to our care this special spirit. We love you, Eric. Happy 2nd Birthday!! (Pictures and info about his day to come soon.)
