Tornado Country
For those of you who know anything about Arkansas, know that we are in tornado country. This past week has been crazy with tornado warnings every other night basically. We have been so, so blessed to have not been effected by any of them. The F5 tornado that hit Joplin, Missouri is only an hour and a half north of us so we feel very blessed to be safe. I am so over the late nights watching the news, praying the storm will dissipate before it gets to us. So far our prayers have been answered. I know we have been luckier than a lot of people. Also, my parents and brother that live here have also been kept safe. Mitch is going up to Joplin this weekend to help with the recovery of the city. I'll have him take some pictures so you can see some of the destruction that took place. I used to think tornados were cool. I still think they are fascinating but would never want to meet one. Thank you for those of you who remembered us in your prayers. They have been heard.

Glad you are all safe.
That is so scary.I hope that out Father keeps watching out for you and that you and your sweet family stay safe!
I'm glad you're all okay. My mother in-law lives 30 minutes from Joplin as well. It's scary stuff.
We are so glad you and your family are safe. We get to know such "tornado news" in Germany too and we are thinking of you any time we hear these news. Hope you will stay safe in the future too.
Glad all is well for your family! I had no idea it was so close to your location. We miss you guys! Eric and Nate are so adorable :)
