Springtime

One day I will fully resurrect this blog. It won't be a casual thing any more. The main problem is uploading the pictures from my phone to the computer to share them. Our first big springtime activity was going on a hike with cousins. What else do you do the first nice day of spring? The kids LOVED it. It was more of a walk through some wooded area but it went right by the lake so the kids were searching for shells, playing in mud, climbing on fallen trees, crossing the lake to big rocks. It was a fun place to go. Now that it's hot, we need to go and actually swim there.

I have also been working on a few home projects this spring. I did the kids bathroom first and got that done the beginning or March. Then I did the laundry room at the end of March. We had been working on our bedroom for a long time. We still have to do another coat on the ceiling and finish the walls in the bathroom but it's on its way. The big rooms next! We also finished our front flower bed. We put new weed barrier down and that rubber mulch. Mitch got all artistic and made this cool little rock pond for when it rains. I was skeptical at first but it looks really great actually. Sadly I don't have pictures of that.
