This now brings me to early Tuesday morning. While feeding Eric at 2, I was thinking about our predicament. The thought came to me that I should email Brother Bouck and send Mitch's resume. Instead of going to bed, I typed up a quick email, attached Mitch's resume, and send it to Elder Bouck. Later that morning Mitch received a call from Elder Bouck and gave him a information about a possible internship. Mitch contacted with company and they will know in June if they will be able to offer us a Fall internship. I am so grateful that I was up early and acted on that prompting. This could be just the ticket we need for an internship. The Lord will send us where he wants us.

Tender Mercy
My last post was complaining about middle of the night feedings, but something happened on Monday night that I hadn't thought of that made me grateful to wake up at 2 am. For a preface, Mitch has earnestly been looking for an internship for the past little while. He is done with classes in July and only has an internship left. We have been trying to find one in the Denver area. Well, he talked with EKS&H (a public accounting firm) and they would be able to give him one in January. So that leaves us with the question of what to do this fall. Well, our cousins Andrew and Tiffany are in Denver right now. Andrew got placed with his internship by the service missionaries. Andrew talked to Elder Bouck about us and Elder Bouck told Andrew to have Mitch send him his resume. With how busy Mitch has been with school he hasn't had time. I kept bugging him but tests and homework are overwhelming.

That's wonderful news! Good luck to you guys! Also, I don't know if I mentioned this in our bedtime routine, but Paxton always sleeps with white noise. He can sleep without it, but I think it really does help. We have a white noise machine that plays three songs and 3 different sounds (ocean, heartbeat, rain). We also keep a humidifier on at night for him which can also work as white noise if turned up. PLUS it's supposed to help them breathe better. A small fan also helps breathing with the air circulation. When Paxton got more active he also started sleeping better at night. I think the more active they get the harder they sleep, but I'm a firm believer in the predictability of a routine at bedtime. It's amazing to me how Paxton responds after being so hyper. We go through the routine and by the time we say a prayer he's already falling asleep. It's like magic. : )
Well things come to us so random. It's nice to know that are farther and the Holy Spirit are there when we need them:) good luck. I love denver!
I'm glad you listened to the prompting. Hopefully, everything will turn out the way it's supposed to. Miss you guys. It was good talking to you last week. Hope everything is going well.
Late night feedings aren't so bad after all. That is great, I hope something comes through. I am sure you will let us know when it does.
Way to go, Carrie! You are really on top of it (and so is Elder Bouck, don't you think?)! I hope that EKS&H makes a smart decision and gives Mitch an internship. We would LOVE to have your here. Keep us posted!
