Wow! I have not been doing very well at blogging lately. Sorry for all of you that actually read it and try to keep up with what's going on in our lives. Well, I will try to give you a little update now. Since we've been home from the cruise, we have been busy. For Thanksgiving, we travelled to Mitch's Grandma's in Utah. His parents went down there too so it was all of us together. We wasted our time doing Black Friday shopping, coming away with Eric's Christmas present that wasn't on sale and the Elf movie (we found it at Big 5 Sports out of all places). Mitch's parents and Grandma actually went to Las Vegas for a birthday party so we hung out with the boys at Grandma's. We were basically bums the whole weekend. But, I always love Thanksgiving because I am reminded of my countless blessings. I always try to make a "100 Things I'm grateful for" list in my journal every year. I was a couple of days late but got it in there. Going over those 100 things, I realize there is so much in life that God has given us that is so little yet we take it for granted. There are usually the same top things every year but then later down the list, the little things change and I notice more little things. Anyways, I love Thanksgiving.
Since Thanksgiving, I have been trying to get our house packed up for the big move. This proves a challenge with a little boy who likes to unpack while I pack. Eric is doing well playing and I try to take advantage of nap times. This week we have really been on a roll. Today, I've got everything we won't use the next 5 days we're home packed. I am proud of myself.
Mitch has busily been finishing up his last project for his class this semester. He locks himself in the office so he can finish it before tomorrow. He is getting excited and nervous about starting up his internship in January.
Eric has started being such a ham!!! He will do this fake laugh to get us laughing. Or he does silly things like stand on his head and toes. He's just goofy. Eric started getting in the trash a lot so he hears no more often. Again, he's a ham because when he things he's getting in trouble he'll put his head down and look all pouty. It's hard not to laugh when he really is in trouble but sometimes he's not. He still isn't walking. He's afraid. Every time we let him go on his own he'll stand there for a minute and then sit down and crawl. He can stand on his own so I think he could walk if he wanted to also. I guess it's all on his time table.
Well, that's all for now. I just wanted to let you know what's been happening. The next post will probably be about Christmas and then on to the move happening December 31! On to Arkansas. Merry Christmas friends and family!

We sure are going to miss you!! Good luck with packing and the move. Let us know if you need any help with anything.
Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year to you too. Good luck with your move and for Mitch's project and the internship.
Don't worry Eric isn't walking yet, Martin was 14 month and Vincent 16 month when they learned to walk.
