Hello to all in this new year of 2010! And hello from Arkansas. On New Years Eve, we packed up a U-Haul with all our belongings and started the treck to Arkansas for Mitch's internship with Walmart. It was a long trip but we made it. Eric was an excellent traveller but got sick Friday night about a 1/2 hour before we stopped for the night. Luckily it was just for a few hours and he slept well and was better in the morning. At about 5:30 Saturday evening we pulled into my parents driveway very happy to be finished with driving. We have an apartment for the internship but we can't move in until next Friday and Mitch starts the internship the 18th. We are very excited for the adventure this will be.
Life is already different here in Arkansas. On sunday it snowed about 2 inches and they actually cancelled church! It was supposed to be cold tonight and they cancelled mutual...YESTERDAY! Schools have been out for the past 3 days even though it has been sunny and today was about 40 degrees. Wow... these people over react...just a little. Overall though, we are excited to be here but miss our Rexburg friends. We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and safe New Years.
