Goals:

Isn't that what life is all about? If we don't have goals, how do we measure our progress? Well, this year I have three main goals. Most of which will be accomplished by May (if I don't have an end date to measure my progress I get lax).

So, numero uno is to run a half marathon. I would love to be able to find cheap plane tickets and fly to Idaho and run the Great Potato Race on May 19th. I've convinced Mitch's dad to run with me and possibly Shereen, Wayne's wife. I also found out that my sisters in law Judie along with Melissa will be running it and my brother Jody. It's just a family event so I want to find a way out. So, I have been running and my milage is slowly increasing but I can feel my body getting stronger and that is motivation to keep going. Now, if I could just keep the weather warm so I can run outside...

Number 2 is to finish this class I am taking to keep my teaching license. I want to have this class AND all things needed for recertification in the mail by May. I don't want to worry about it for a while.

Number 3 is to take more pictures of my boys. I want a hobby and have been toying with photography but our camera isn't very good. I realized that this is why I don't take pictures. I don't want bad pictures of events (weird excuse I know). So, I am trying to take at least one picture a day. My boys are always being silly so I have lots of excuses. I al also going to upgrade on a camera. Nothing too fancy yet because I have realized that fancy ones are expensive and I would need a class to teach me some techniques. So, for now, taking A picture is my goal.
Not an exciting post, but had to get these down so I am held accountable for them. Check up on me, will ya readers?

Coming soon...Eric turns 3!

Wow, there you have planned a lot! I would not credit myself with a half marathon - crazy - amazing girl!
How time flies, hard to believe Eric turns already 3!
I got two cameras: the best for bigger events is a Canon EOS 550D with an extra flash - it's just great to take pics with that and they mostly turn out great! The smaller camera to take with me in my handbag is a Canon Powershot SX220 HS purple color. It really takes wonderful pics for such a small camera. I could recommend both.

We will be doing the Potato Race too! TJ will run the half and the boys and I will be doing the 5K. Hope you can make it! If so we will have to try and meet up.
