This cute little boy:is now 3 years old and loving being big! The morning of his birthday he got to open his birthday card from Grandma:
He wanted to show Nate too.
He was also able to have a birthday party with some of his friends. His initial birthday list for guests included all girls. I invited some friends that our boys and sadly that was all the were able to make it (Seriously, Eric's best friends are girls). I didn't want to try to fight 3 year old to play games so we did a play date birthday party. We did do a dancing game where you dance and then pose funny when the music stops. Then we had yummy superman cake:
My friend, Annette, has her own wedding cake business and coached me with his cake. I think it turned out pretty cute. I loved Eric's face when we sang to him and he got to blow out his candles. He just looks so excited:
Mitch took Eric to lunch after his party. Eric had fun. He got spoiled too. I made him a superman/batman reversible cape. He also got a T-ball set, a new movie, and more train tracks and big lego blocks. It was a good birthday.
Eric is a super sweet boy. When my mom called him for his birthday without even being prompted from me he said, "Hi Grandma. Thank you for the birthday card." He will do that a lot. Almost every night he will thank me for making dinner. He loves being a big brother and loves going and getting Nate when he wakes up in the morning or after naps. Eric is SUPER active. His new thing is doing somersaults around the house and jumping on anything and everything he can. He loves wrestling Dad and playing chase. We love our little boy and are so grateful he is part of our family.
