1 Year already?

Yep. That's right. Nate turned 1 on the 3rd. Seriously, that was the fastest year of my life. This is how he started out:

He is so big and so cute! To celebrate, we just did something small. My Mom come up along with Holly and the cousins. Nate enjoyed his caterpillar cupcakes: (I made the cupcakes and Sarah made a decorated the head. I didn't have a pan that size.)

After getting him cleaned up, he opened some presents. A new pair of shoes from us, a ball from Eric, and a shape hammering thing from Grandma that he LOVES! After all the festivities, Nate took a 3 HOUR long NAP! I guess we wore him out. But, I would like to do that on my birthday too. That night we ate pizza with our friends the Smiths while Nate got to play with Eric and Ainsley. It's a day he won't remember but it is fun to celebrate his birth. How we love this little guy!

He had his 1 year check up yesterday and here are his stats:
Height: 30 1/2 inchess- 75th percentile
Weight: 21 lbs. 3 oz.- 25th percentile

Nate is loving walking all over the place. He is quick to smile and has recently discovered waving and giving kisses. He adores his big brother Eric and wants to do everything he does and have everything he has. He LOVES outside and cries when we bring him in. He still snuggles with me when he's tired though which I love! We love you so much, Naters! Happy 1st Birthday!
