One thing I miss about Boise is the weather. There is relatively no humidity making 80 degrees glorious. I also love that Mitch's parents live in walking distance of about 3 or 4 parks. So, we hit up those parks. Since it was relatively chilly when we got there we were in jeans and sweaters but that is the best weather to go to the parks in. One evening we hit up Elm Grove park. The boys were in heaven. Nate LOVES swings so Grandpa and Graham entertained both of the on the swings.
I have got to be better about pictures! I got caught up playing with Nate on the slides instead of taking pictures. He LOVED the slides there. In the cooler weather we also enjoyed some runs. Blake even joined me one morning before swim team started. Eric and Nate loved being around the dogs and cats. The dogs didn't like the boys at first but after a few hits on the head to get them to be nice to the boys, they finally agreed to like them.
Grandpa would take Eric "into the mountains" to take the dogs on a walk. It was just up into the foot hills but Eric was in heaven. It was bonding time for Grandpa and Eric.
On Thursday of our first week there we headed to Utah for Mitch's cousin Jessica's wedding. She chose to be married for time and al eternity in the Mount Timpanogas temple. It is a beautiful temple and I left my camera in the car so I missed pictures at the temple. Jessica was so beautiful though. It was a great ceremony too. So excited for Jessica and Andrew. I did, however, remember my camera for the reception. Here are a few snippets:
