Eric's 5th Birthday

Where has time gone? On January 13, Eric turned 5 years old! That has been some of the fastest 5 years of my life. He is such a fun, helpful, friendly, kind kid. We love him to death. To celebrate his birthday this year he wanted to go to Chick-fil-A, his favorite place to eat out at. Shaun, Holly and cousins joined us. Earlier that day Grandma and Grandpa came and took Eric on a special birthday date to Dairy Queen. After Chick-fil-A, we all came back to our house for cake. This year Eric chose a pirate cake. I'm no pro but he loved it and that's all that matters.
He wanted hoodie sweatshirts for his birthday and "non-holey pants". Disclaimer: This boy is rough on pants. I was putting off buying more because...because I am cheap and didn't want him wearing holes in new jeans. I know, I know. Lame excuse. So, that's what he got. Non-holey pants and a couple of hoodies. He loves them all. This kid loves getting new clothes!Happy BIrthday, Eric! So grateful Heavenly Father sent you to our family.
