Another week down!

Another week has gone by and nothing is really happening with the baby. At our appointment today I was almost dialated to a 3 and 70% effaced. It just doesn't seem like this guy wants to come! I guess since next week I'll be 40 weeks we might start talking induction. After talking to the doctor, Mitch got all worried about going much over because the doc was discuss mother and infant mortality rates after 41 weeks. Mitch was all, "How about we just go Friday afternoon? I'm done with class then." He's just as anxious as me I think,

On other notes, Mitch starts back to school Wednesday. We have figured out that he only has two semesters of classes and an internship and then he's done! I can't believe that 2009 will be the last year in Rexburg (it better be). It is very exciting. The two semesters will be very busy but he'll work hard to get done. Remember him in you prayers if you will.

Hope friends and family are well. We will keep you posted on the little guy so keep watching!

That's interesting that you're dilating faster than effacing. I was 90% effaced before I even hit 2 centimeters. . . which I guess is typical with first babies. But you might have much faster labor than I did. (Most people do.) Are you contracting at all?

I sat at 1 centimeter for weeks till they finally broke my water 9 days after my due date. Just start doing all the things to induce labor (they didn't work for me, but maybe they will for you). I am so excited for you!!!

Carrie--I am so excited for you! You look great in the pictures! Everybody has such a different story when it comes to labor, delivery, and everything leading up to it. My water broke when I was at 1 cm before I had any contractions (2 weeks early). Anyways, I am so excited to see your little boy. Good luck with everything! Babies are lots of fun!
