The first week of August, we were able to go to Boise for the annual Ririe Reunion. This year it was just Mitch's family but we still traveled up to McCall, Idaho for some mountain fun. We stayed in a beautiful home and enjoyed some amazing cooking from Mitch's mom. we spent a lot of time with Mitch's uncle David that lives up there in the summer. On Tuesday, we went hiking up to Goose Neck Falls. It was a beautiful hike. Here are a few pictures and stories from the hike to enjoy: (I don't know why that is underlined. I couldn't get it off either.)
This is just a cute picture of Eric. He had woken up early but was still tired. He cuddled up to my stomach and fell back asleep. He's so cute!

Mitch carried Eric on the way to the falls. Grandpa took him on the way back. Blake is hiding behind the tree for some reason.

This is a view of the river we were following along the hike. It is so pretty up there. Luckily the day we hiked was warm, but it was mostly shaded.

Mitch's mom, dad, and I were the first ones to make it to the falls. Tammy and I climbed up as close as we could. It was nice and cool up there because we kept getting misted from the falls.

Tammy and I relaxing by the river.

Mitch and his dad were brave enough to get all the way in. The first plunge was fridgid, but they did it. Also, they didn't have swimsuits so they went in their shorts. They swam right up to the falls until the falls started pulling them under. BRRRR!!!

It was a really neat hike. The boys went golfing one day so Mom and I watched a chick flick with Eric. Eric and I went hot tubbing at the house. Eric loved the warm water. Mitch and I went and played tennis one evening and then went and waded at the Cascade Lake with Eric. Surprisingly, Eric liked the water. He was splashing and kicking in it. After we got back to Boise, we went and saw the new Harry Potter movie as a family. It was a great vacation and so much fun to spend time with Mitch's family. The only one missing was Wayne who is serving his mission in Mexico for another year. Thanks Mom and Dad Ririe for an awesome vacation!
