Southern Football

Having grown up in a non-sports watching family, I always thought people were crazy who got really into football games. I never knew that in the south that obsession was about 100% greater. People down here love their football. Well, my brother Shaun got some tickets to the University of Arkansas' first home game of the season against Tennessee Tech. We got to go with him. I didn't have the best attitude going into the game but ended up enjoying myself quite a lot. The Razorbacks killed Tennessee but it was still fun to cheer. Now, I'll actually watch a little of a game on TV every once in a while (like Arkansas vs. Bama). I guess I am truly experiencing the south.

The only thing I get into is BSU. We are big BSU fans and our boys love to sing the fight song, "Go Orange! Go Big Blue! Fight! Fight! BSU!!!"

I'm glad you were able to experience a good southern football game. You can't beat it!! You never knew what you were missing when you moved to Idaho when you were little.

I am so excited that you are truly embracing the South. It is a wonderful place! People from here just don't understand it.
