Random Tourist Sites of the Mid-West

The midwest is full of the most random tourist sites. When Mitch and I went to St. Louis for our anniversary, we past tons of billboards indicating tourist sites that probably only old people or people who want random pictures would visit. We saw billboards for a vaccuum museum, word's largest rocking chair, etc. I know somewhere in the midwest is the world's largest ball of twine. It is all very random. Well, apparently my niece is one of those people who wants to go to these strange places. She had recently found her mom's Precious Moments figurines they used for their wedding. Since then she has been begging to go to the Precious Moments Museum in Carthage, Missouri (about 1.5 hours from us). So, one day we went. It was very cute but so random. So, here are a few pictures from our random trip to one of the scenic sites of the Midwest.

Eric wanted to touch all the statues. What else can you ask for a two year old? All the statues were his size.

The girls and Eric in front of the museum entrance. It was a hot day so getting splashed by this fountain felt good.

Ahhhh! A precious moment of my own!
