The day itself wasn't overly exciting. I made him oatmeal for breakfast because that's what he asked for. The day was spent getting things ready for the party that night. Eric got to watch one of his favorite movies. Grandma and Grandpa Sedrick were the first to arrive for the birthday celebration. Uncle Shaun, Aunt Holly, Daniel, Sarah, Hannah, Aleena, and Izzy also came over. We also invited the Shiley's who were new in our branch over. We had a yummy dinner of chili spuds (Eric LOVES potatoes). After opening presents and getting his new favorite toy, Nerf guns, we chopped up the train cake and enjoyed it with ice cream. Eric loved being sang too and loved FINALLY getting to blow out the candles (he's been to his cousins birthdays recently). All in all, it was a great day. One he probably won't remember, but luckily we now have pictures to show him.
The train cake I made. It turned out okay. I would've done some things different but everyone could tell it was a train so that's what's important.

Eric's Nerf gun. He's going Rambo on us.
