Tulsa Zoo

Last Wednesday, Eric, Nate, and I headed to the Tulsa Zoo with my sister in law, nieces, and nephew. They were heading over for a day trip during their spring break with some friends so we hopped in to enjoy the day. This was Eric's first trip to the Zoo and he absolutely LOVED it! We are going to need to take a trip over again soon. The Tulsa Zoo had a good about of animals. We walked around for most of the day and I think we still missed a few things. I won't include a picture of everything we saw but here are some highlights from the day:
We started off checking out the elephants. This is in front of the elephant house:

Eric is buds with his cousin Dan. Here they are checking out the elephant:

The monkeys were so much fun to watch. They would climb to the very top of the cage and swing. Some of the bigger monkey's would chase the smaller monkeys. It was just entertaining

Nate and I enjoying the show:

Eric likes dinosaurs. Here he is by one:

Nate enjoyed the day in our new jogging stroller. Of course, he slept most of the day. He was joined by Mary for part of the trip:

They have a fun park inside the zoo where we enjoyed lunch. Then the kiddo's got to go and play. Eric loves his cousins. Here he is with Sarah:

I thought the giraffe was super cool. They are just so long and awkward. He was a different color than I always picture them too.

Just today Eric reminded me that we saw a Lion at the zoo. Apparently, that made an impact on him.

Eric actually enjoyed the other stroller more than ours. I think he could climb in and out of it better to see the animals.

Here is a 3 toed sloth. It was just hanging out above us. It wasn't in a cage or anything. It was pretty epic as Dan would say

Here's all the kids that went.

Eric and I being monkeys. If Nate wouldn't have been sleeping, he would've been a monkey too.

I love the kids big eyes when they see all the animals at the zoo, especially when it's the first time for them, like this year it will be for Vincent. You look just great, Carrie!
