We are alive!

Wow! It has been awhile since I have been on here. Since I got my iPhone I hardly ever upload pics to the computer. I am on today checking other peoples blogs and ordering some last minute christmas gifts so I thought I'd write a little bit about where we have been the last few months. Honestly, we haven't done anything huge. We have been here in Arkansas. When school started in September, Eric started a joy school group. 4 other moms and I switch off weeks teaching the kids. Eric loves school. It seems like every morning he wakes up asking if it is school today. I love when he tells me random things that he has learned in school. That has kept us busy. We also attempted soccer this fall. Eric liked the first 3 practices and then never wanted to go. It will start again in the spring so we will see if he wants to do it again. He also did extra hard chores and earned enough money for a bike. He likes to ride out front. He had a traumatic experience with falling so now he is a little afraid of riding down hills. Hopefully we can get him over that this spring. Nate keeps me on my toes. Multiple times a day I am taking him off of the counter. He is an excellent climber much to my dismay. The other day while I was showering he pushed his chair over and climbed where the christmas cookies were and ate at least 4. He is fast, quiet, and good. We had two bad cases of croup, one in August and one right before Thanksgiving, where he had to be hospitalized over night. It was miserable (so have the bills been). We are just finishing up antibiotics for an ear infection so he is finally doing better. Just in time for Christmas. We got the boys bunk beds last month and just got Nate a mattress and have started having him on the big boy bed. Last night was our first try. It wasn't terrible until 5:30 this morning. He'll get the hang of it though. Mitch has been very, very, very busy lately. He passed the FAR section of the CPA back in August. One down, 3 to go. He studies so hard. He is also working like crazy. A lot f late nights. He also recently got called to work with the 16-18 year old young men in our church so that takes up more time. But, he loves playing with his boys when he is home. We were running together before the light faded quicker. Hopefully we can pick that up again in the spring. As for me, I was sick for about 6 weeks back in September and October. yep, we are expecting another baby in May. We had our mid-pregnancy ultra sound today. Yes, we know what we are having but a month ago we decided to keep it a surprise until Christmas. So, stay tuned on Christmas. I am wanting to paint more rooms and have been organizing like crazy. Eric and Nate keep me busy. I am doing what I do best, keeping our lives in order. We are alive and doing well. We hope that you are too. Enjoy some pictures of the boys and our family:
