Christmas all year long??

I finally got to downloading pictures from our camera so I can blog about Christmas real quick before moving on to Eric's birthday.
Christmas this year was spent with the Ririe's in Boise. It was so much fun having a kid to celebrate Christmas with. Christmas morning was a lot of fun. The Ririe's eat breakfast before opening presents so after crepes the fun began. Eric had seen his Santa gift from the dining room so kept trying to crawl into the family room. When we finally let him go he bolted towards his toy. (For some reason I couldn't download the video). Eric loved presents but more than the gift itself was the ripping the wrapping of course. He eventually lost interest and just wondered around but it was still fun to see. Christmas is just more special with a little one. You would much rather see their joy than open your own presents.
The week was a lot of fun. We did a lot of baking, played dodgeball and ultimate frisbee at the church, hiked in the snowy foothills, saw "The Princess and the Frog", and had fun game nights (try the game "Bang!" if you haven't. It's a blast.) It was a great Christmas; one I'll remember for years to come since it was my baby's first. I hope all yours was amazing too!
