I'm a big kid now!

On the 13th, Eric turned one!! I can't believe that it has already been a year since Eric joined us. He is such a bundle of fun and we are so blessed to have his goofiness as part of our every day life. For his birthday, Holly and the kids joined us for a yummy chicken enchilada dinner. Then we watched as Eric ate off the icing of his cupcake. Christmas was good practice for opening presents. He got two new pairs of shoes and some cute t-shirts. He also got some money that we put into his savings account so he doesn't spend it all in one place. It was a fun evening; one that he won't remember but I will.

Eric had confetti cupcakes that had blue soccer balls on them. They almost had nothing because the icing and tips were packed.

"You are letting me eat pure sugar? On purpose?"


"Yummmmm!"
Also, Eric had his 12 month well-baby check up. He weighs 21 lbs. 4.5 oz., is about 29 inches long (I can't remember exactly), and has a head circum. of 17-19 inches (again, I remember it was somewhere in this range). Eric is walking like crazy now. He can turn pretty well but hasn't figured out quite how to get back up after falling. He is a ham who likes to make silly faces and do silly things to get us to laugh. We love this little boy.
