A Happy Ending

Well, after much anticipation and much waiting, Elder Wayne made it home Friday August 20 at 4:30 p.m. That's right, Friday, not Wednesday as promised. I guess the mission home hadn't gotten the Visa until Thursday night. As we all look back on the last few weeks of trying to get home, we all realize the hand of the Lord was in him staying. I guess they were finishing up some new missionary training that ended on Thursday the 19th. The Lord needed him to learn the new system because they finished their conference in the afternoon, the mission home received his Visa from the Mexican government that evening, they had him on a plane heading home Friday morning. Although we are sad we missed him, we are grateful the Lord has a bigger plan for all of us...even when we may want something different. Well, we'll see you at Christmas, Wayner's.
