Although I don't have anything to really blog about, I realize that I'm not posting as much lately. So, here's what's up in the Ririe home. Well, we are actually still house less. We are living with my parents who have been so kind as to host us for the past 2 months. We weren't sure if Mitch was going to get to go to Japan so we stayed put through September. Lucky for us (and my parents) they are retired and do whatever they want. They were gone for 3 weeks out of September traveling and working in the temple so we just took care of their house. The commute from Springdale to MItch's work is kinds of a drag (around 30 minutes one way). He works long hours anyways so that doesn't leave tons of family time. We are excited though because Mitch found out last week that he gets to go to Mexico City for a week to do training for the project he's on. He is super pumped. It will be a great experience. Mitch is also signed up to take the GMAT in November. He's nervous but he's got to get it done so we can apply to grad schools. He's a hard workin' trooper.
As for me, I'm a mom. Eric and I have been searching for a home for us. It's been a roller coaster ride. We haven't as of yet found a place we feel really settled about. So, we're still looking. It's hard to find something to meets all our requirements. I have faith though that we will be directed where we should go. Whenever that might be.
Eric is getting big. It seems like he learns at least 2 new words a day now. He has an uncanny ability to constantly get into what he's not supposed to (it's easy in a grandparents home too). We have bought child locks for doors since he learned how to open those. He loves spray bottles so keep cleaning supplies out of his way. He also has reached into a drawer in the kitchen and gotten a sharp knife out to open his granola bar package. He keeps me running non stop especially when it's too quite.
Well, that's what's up with the Ririe's. Hope all our friends are doing just as well as us.

We're glad you're doing well, and we miss you! We hope you're able to find a house soon, although visiting with your parents is probably pretty awesome.
:)
Yay Mitch gets to go to Mexico! Cool. I'm so excited for you to find out what you're having. Good luck with the house hunting!
